1. How do I import my photos?

We try to make using our service as easy as possible, whether you're using your computer or a mobile device. 

To start, you will have to click on the product you want to order first. If you are using a mobile device, you can import your photos from Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox or your Camera Roll. If you're on a desktop or laptop computer, you can import your photos from Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox or directly from your computer.

Note: when you are trying to syncronize your social network or photoroll, a message will pop up asking if you allow us to access your photos. Click or tap "Allow", otherwise you will not be able to upload your pics.

You can import both .JPG or .PNG file formats and you can also import from mulitiple sources. 

2. Can I use my mobile device?

You sure can! Our website is optimized for mobile device usage. We recommend that you use Safari or Chrome as your mobile web navigator.

However, for the best possible user experience, we do recommend that you use a desktop. Certain functionalities and options require the use of your mouse and certain products are more easily displayed.

We do not currently have a application for mobile device, but we'll be working on one real soon. Sign up for our newsletter and we'll let you know as soon as it's out!

3. Can I save my order and continue later?

Absolutely! If you start configuring your order and don't have time to finish (or if you're just a classic procrastinator), you can save your place and finish later. You don’t even need to create an account! We’ll save your unfinished orders for up to 15 days.

4. Do I need to create an account to order?

Yes, you will need to create an account in order to complete your purchase. But no worries, unlike Ashley Madison, we keep your information is kept secure and private and we'll never sell or rent it to a third party. 

5. What happens if I'm unhappy with my order?

We take pride in our prints and want you to have the best printing experience with us as possible.

If you're unsatisfied with your order, please contact us with your order reference. If there is a problem with your prints due to an error caused by our printers, we offer refunds or reprints on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of receipt.

If your prints do not live up to your expectations because of a poor-quality original image, there is unfortunately nothing we can do. We are currently working on a time machine that will allow us to travel back to the moment in time when you took the picture in order to intervene in any way possible, but we don't expect any major advances before 2198. We hope you understand.

6. What is Sugar for Sharing (and how can I get some)?

Sugar for Sharing is our Referral Program. 

It allows you to invite your friends to order their pics from us. When you share PicsAppeal with your friend, and they complete a purchase, both you and your friend will receive a voucher worth $5 on an order.

Once you've ordered you can invite up to 20 friends, the equivalent of up to $100 in vouchers ;-)

7. What methods of payment do you accept?

We use Stripe, a highly secure payment processor. Stripe accepts all debit/credit cards and can do almost anything, except perhaps payment by check... but c'mon, it's 2015.

8. What currency can I use?

Our prices are listed in USD, but we can accept payments from all over the world. For orders outside the US, your bank may charge a small conversion fee. Check directly with your bank to see if you'll be charged. 

9. Do you charge sales tax?

No sales tax is imposed at the moment. You're welcome.


10. When will my order be delivered?

Orders are be shipped out after 1 day of production, depending on the product. Shipping is estimated at 3 to 7 business days (-ish), depending on the destination country.

Because some products may take longer to fabricate than others, multiple-product orders may be sent separately. But no worries, this is rare and won't cost you dime extra.

11. What countries do you ship to?

All countries. Everywhere. Excluding but not limited to such fictional places as The Shire, Hogwarts, Winterfell, Mordor, the Land of Oz, etc.

12. How much is shipping?

We offer worldwide shipping at a flat rate of $6 per order. We don't charge extra for weight or multiple prints. Just $6. That's it.

13. Can I save multiple shipping addresses?

Want to send your order of work pics straight to the office? No problem. Want to send a different order to your mom's? OK! Want to send a gift directly to your cousin who lives on the other side of the country- or in a different country? That's cool too! You can save multiple shipping addresses on your account, even if it's different from your billing address. Just remember that you can only send to one address per order.

14. Can I ship to a PO Box?

Our packages don't require a signature, so if it fits, it's legit! And if it doesn't, well that's ok too. However, please note that shipping to a PO Box may take longer (up to 3 weeks to a US PO Box).

Prints and products

15. What the heck is a Wall Dot?

We're glad you asked! Our Wall Dots are round, full-bleed, canvas-textured prints that have an adhesive backing so that you may apply them directly onto any wall much like a decal. Unlike a regular wall decal, however, the glue is made to adhere to many types of wall surfaces, much like a wallpaper glue. It comes with a plastic film that peels off easily making application fast and simple!

16. Are Wall Dots permanent and will they damage my wall if I try to remove them?

The adhesive backing is strong enough so that you won't have to worry about them coming off on their own, but they're still removable.

If you keep them on the wall for a long period of time (years, for example), you may want to take extra caution when removing them and you may need to clean a bit of the glue residue. It shouldn't damage the wall or paint, but this will depend on the quality of the paint and surface texture.
